‘The Hall’ at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon opened September 22, 2008. The Original "Big 3" of the Celtics were Larry Bird, Robert Parish, and Kevin McHale. The newly christened "Big 3" are said to be Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce. Currently, in the Spring of 2008, they are in the Semi-finals for the NBA playoffs and are tied 2-2 with the Detroit Pistons. They are available to the public 7 days per week (as are group events for up to 1000+) but racing time is subject to availability. Group events (corporate meetings, organization events or personal celebrations) may be booked in advance. Arrive & Drive racers (men and women 18+ with a valid drivers license) come in and suit up, receive a driver briefing, and pit themselves against other drivers scored by F1 Boston's computerized, split-second timing system – the same system used in professional racing.
